How to set DNS for all VPN clients
Push custom resolvers or use gateway DNS, then have users reconnect.
Path: Admin → DNS.
Two modes
- Custom DNS servers — up to four IPs, comma-separated. Example:
1.1.1.1,8.8.8.8 - Use VPN gateway DNS — clients use the VPN gateway; the gateway forwards upstream.
After you save
The VPN service restarts so the new DNS push applies. Ask users to reconnect. If a profile embeds DNS in a different way, have them re-download .ovpn.
